Abby Wright, founder & CEO of PHAZE 4, recognized that companies struggle to remove access barriers for their products at every phase. Hiring an experienced, full-time Market Access employee is both expensive and often not feasible. Fractional Market Access leadership and services was the answer and how PHAZE 4 was born.
Abby is experienced and knowledgeable across a number of sectors in health care, including diagnostic laboratory and genetic testing, digital health, digital biomarker solutions, operations, reimbursement, managed care, health economics and business development including partnership development and alternative revenue streams. Prior to founding PHAZE 4 Medical, she served as Vice President of Business Development & Market Access at binx health, Inc. and as Vice President of Market Access at Biodesix, Inc. She is a graduate of Universidad de Alcala de Madrid, Spain, with a Master’s of Bilingual & Mulicultural Studies. She received her Bachelor of Decision Sciences and Bachelor of Spanish Language from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA.
Robert C. McDonald, MD, MBA
Medical Director Advisor & Partner
Robert McDonald, MD, MBA is the Medical Director Advisor & Partner at PHAZE 4 Medical. For twenty-two years, Dr. McDonald was the President and Founder of Aledo Consulting where he worked with health care product and service companies to develop and to execute reimbursement strategies and tactics that advance their business objectives. Prior to this role, he served in a variety of senior medical and operations positions at Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and its predecessor company, The Associated Group, including Medical Director of Medical Policy, Medical Director of Anthem Prescription Management, LLC and Medical Director of Health Care Management, Anthem Inc. Among his responsibilities at Anthem were the creation and contracting of the first network of national scope for hemophilia factor and immunoglobulin providers. Prior to Anthem, he served for three years at Eli Lilly and Company as a Health Economics Research Physician performing cost effectiveness analyses both as part of developmental trials and on site at health plans across the United States.
Kalli Glanz
Partner
Partner, at PHAZE 4 Medical, Kalli leads clients through commercialization and market access strategies. Kalli comes from leading consulting group, ADVI Health. She has a background in precision medicine, MolDX reimbursement, digital health, and point-of-care molecular diagnostics for both FDA-approved and Laboratory Developed Tests (LDTs). She specialized in government contracting and has worked closely with state departments of health to launch public health programs. She has also worked at the Ministry of Health in New Zealand where she coordinated policies to address the Sustainable Development Goals. Kalli earned her Bachelor of Arts & Science from McGill University with a degree in Sustainability, Science, and Society and specialties in Health Geography and Multidisciplinary Research.
Pat Hasselblad
Operations Coordinator
Pat Hasselblad is the Operations Coordinator at PHAZE 4 Medical. Formerly the Executive Assistant to the President of Aledo Consulting, Pat has many years of experience in project management, community outreach, fund development, and special event coordination. Pat previously served as the Executive Assistant to the President of the Ruth Lilly Health Education Center, a non-profit that provides inspiring health education through hi-tech, innovative presentations to promote and reinforce healthy lifestyle choices for K-12 students. Previously, Pat helped co-found Sagamore Institute, a public policy research organization, and served as its Director of Fund Development, and Corporate Secretary. Pat also was at Hudson Institute, a public policy research organization, for 13 years, serving in a number of important roles, including the Director of Major Gifts, Director of Executive Administration, Director of Special Events, and Corporate Secretary. Prior to entering the non-profit world, Pat served as the project manager for a private developer involved in the rehabilitation of the South of Market District in San Francisco. She also served as the Director of the San Francisco Mayor’s Council on Physical Fitness & Sports. Pat serves on the Board of Directors of ASSE International, Inc., an international student exchange program based in Southern California.
